Farewell, Ellie & Clarence!

Ellie & Clarence has closed. It is terribly bittersweet. Yet, when one store closes…another opens! We are now Milkwood Home and Body Apparel down at 113 West Main Street in Monroe, Washington — the beautiful Historic district!

Our new store will sell locally made furniture plus many of the products from E&C including cushions, ceramics (including owls by Seattle’s Aaron Murray), prints and apparel. We are also taking custom made furniture commissions. Added to the mix will be the most delicious lotions that we cannot live without from Handmade LaConner.

We open for business on Friday, November 1 from 10 AM – 7 PM. Our Grand Opening Open House is Saturday, November 9 from noon-7 PM. We hope to see you there or as soon as possible!

And again…thank you for your loyalty and friendship these last 4 years. It’s been a blast!

Get your fabulous Index, Washington souvenirs here! I mean here, where you currently are — on the internet.  We now have a few items available via Etsy (shop HERE) and will be adding more items in future. This way you may send beautiful Index goods to friends near and far without the need to travel. Although…our mountain views right now are spectacular, especially since we had a robust snowfall in town on April 1st!
