Sky Valley Road Trip

Ellie & Clarence’s March theme is Road Trips. With gas prices low and the car all tuned, it’s time to take a drive.  Our walls are covered with scenic paintings by local artists and artists who are inspired by the spectacular Sky Valley. Featuring the works of Catherine Gill, Patrick Woods,  Beanne Hull and early area photographer Lee Pickett. One of the Catherine Gill  paintings in the shop was the subject of a plein air road trip featured in “An Almost Perfect ‘Lousy’ Day In Skykomish Valley”.

Plan your own road trip and stop in Index, Washington to visit our store to pick up a painting and check out some of the most original fabric around, our very own Sky Valley Road Trip!

This fabric features small towns in the Skykomish Valley along  Highway 2 that you know and love.  It comes in four beautiful colors: Sunday Yellow, Deep Salmon Red,  Roseann’s Blue and Grandiorite Gray. Perfect for curtains, aprons, pillows, tablecloths, cloth napkins, spring dresses — and you can even order knits to make a bathing suit!

Drop by Ellie & Clarence for our monthly special event on Saturday, April 9 from 1-3 to create refrigerator magnets and buttons, gifts for Mother’s Day and everyone else including you. Bring photos or pretty papers to make your buttons with. Our April theme is flowers, so come into the shop to be inspired. Click here for workshop specifics.

A lovely little shop in a rustic setting. New merchandise all the time, much by local artisans and not available anywhere else!
